Basic Science

The Department of Basic Science was started in the year 2011 with an intake of 300 seats and affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur. Also since 2017 First Year is affiliated to DBATU Lonere University. The Department of Basic Science plays a major role in equipping first year engineering students to take their core program education. The English Language Laboratory provides students in improving their linguistic skills along with necessary soft skills required for corporate. The department has Chemistry Laboratory. Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the study of composition and properties of matter. It is relevant to every walk of life. Physics Laboratory, which is part and parcel in applied sciences, has been set by Department. Physics is therefore indispensable for engineering students to excel in their fields.By providing faculty mentors special care is being taken along with attention on individual student.
